When Memories Become Nightmares
Return to a series.
My Two Sentence Challenge
Good Early Morning Everyone,
Or whatever time you are reading this, HI! I am still struggling with be faithfully in posting something as far as a full article once a week. Sometimes I just want to be silent more than 'vocal'. And when those times occur, if interrupts me writing too.
I started this Two Sentence Challenge a couple of Halloween Seasons ago. It was behind a heartbreak. It was my way of release. It was only supposed to be a posting 'when memories become nightmares'. Just one post that turned into more. This entry is special because it is number 31 and they are 31 days in October.
lol
I changed it into a challenge. A challenge inspired by a Netflix showing and unfortunately I can not remember the actually name. It was a series starting with two sentences and at the end of the show, if filling out the two sentences.
The challenge is about writing in the moment. I would write two sentences and two only. I wasn't to plan it. Not to think about the direction. The only goal is 52 two-sentence entries. I could only refer to the previous entry. Now that might sound easy to professional writer's etc. Creating in a box has never been my strong point.
So compound creating in a box with my occasional writer's block and this get's interesting.
lol
I made a video of what I posted previously, https://rakiaari.myportfolio.com/ I have decided to certainly publish this when I am done.
Feel free to join my challenge and please share you progress with me. If we are social media friends, tag me. That isn't an invite I encourage often.
lol
Two Sentence Challenge
A Challenge to Write in the Moment
Write two sentences at a time.
You can only refer to your previous two sentences and you can not plan ahead what to write. You pick a time. It can be daily, weekly or monthly. It can not be more than once a day. At that moment only, are you to enter your two sentences. And if you miss it, you have to wait until your next scheduled time. No you can not save your sentences for later, that is cheating and you will be only cheating yourself. Part of writing in the moment, is writing influenced by that moment only, primarily.
