After My Mini Vacation

I AM BACK!!!!

BEEN BACK ACTUALLY.

I have finally found time to follow-up on my personal time away from everything and everyone. I did take LaFenda with me for company.

I missed my son, otherwise the silence was golden. Gave me a great deal of time to think and clear my head. No stressing. I didn't tell most where I was, because I did not want to have a conversation about it and did not feeling saying I don't want to talk about it. Some folk feel they have to know everything in your life or you don't love them. Let's not forget those they want to make what you are doing about them, somehow. 

I took a few videos from my stay. I added them below. I did not bother editing them, it was just for fun. My second night, I went to a tapas bar. I love tapas venues. 

I forgot to turn my flash on. It is a Chinese-MexiCali menu. They had a great ofenda. I had few great dishes and drinks. To the left is the Octopus Tostada. I also had Marinated Skirt Steak and Quesabirria Tacos. I had a taste for beef. Originally, I said I was going to cook but I decided to dine out instead. 

Now you being the drinks connoisseur that I am, I had a couple of their drinks. I had their Hook-A-Louie (a variation of the Moscow Mule) and Fill it, Regular (tequila, lime and sugar).  I also had a shot of tequila to wash it down. lol.

There was a great atmosphere not to crowded. Nice music mixture. I am definitely going back.

I intend of visiting the airbnb again too. 

Nothing wrong with taking time to yourself.

So as I get packed and put together my music soundtrack for my upcoming time off, I am also reviewing things I need to meditate on while I am alone.

This spoke to me! Well yelled at me.

I have been taking on way to my battles that were and are not important to my destiny. Even creating some inner battles because I am second guessing myself.

Taking a Mini Vaca

So I am prepared to take a mid-work week vacation. I decided to add the experience to my blog. As I said before, I am trying to pick this up again.

I have a few things planned that I will also add to my blog. I am going to make some content for my 'I am No Chef but I Cook Anyway' series that I presently have only posted to my social medias:

• Instagram;
• Tiktok;
• Facebook;

This will give me an opportunity for more privacy and do a little more in the presentation. My cousin is always going on about the pretty plate thing, so maybe I will include that. I have at least decided what I am going do:

• By Request - My Tangy Jerked Buffalo Wings. 
• A drop in dirty Steak as well as a Swordfish version or Mahi Mahi. Depends on what the have available.
• Southern Caviar with Guinness
• Bubble and Squeak
• Seasoned Plantain Fries

I am not going to make any desserts or special drinks, at least that is not the plan.

Aside from getting the most out of the kitchen there, I plan to go out on Tuesday night. I was looking at some options as far AIRBNB Experiences, Ashton Cigar Bar or Village Whiskey. It is still up in the air because I am not sure what other opportunities may become available. There is still a chance I will be wrapped up, with a bottle of Red Wine and just enjoying the space.
